Disaggregations

Disaggregations is a mode of E2Govl for the spatial and temporal disaggregation of all data in Data Manager, and for data representation on territorial structures defined by the users and on a monthly, daily and hourly basis.

From the perspective of data temporal disaggregation should be considered:

  • The hourly breakdown (during the twenty-four hours)
  • The seasonal breakdown (in different months)
  • The breakdown between public holidays, weekends and holidays

Such variation is generally related to temperature-dependent parameters and behavioral or social parameters such as working hours, production rates, demand for electric power, etc.

The distribution can be estimated directly for major point, line or area sources through surveys by operators of facilities.

For statistic sources, the subdivision is obtained through the use of correction factors that play a role similar to the surrogate variables in the case of spatial distribution. Once you have located a group of socio-economic or physical (e.g. temperature) factors which describe the change, the basic annual data are correlated with these factors to obtain the desired time breakdown.

With reference to the spatial breakdown point, linear and areal sources are estimated separately and individually placed in the territory on a map while the statistical variables estimated at the level of geographical statistical units can be distributed on a grid of smaller sizes. This need may arise to be a more realistic mapping of data in order, in the case of emissions, to provide input to pollutants transport models.

For the allocation of land use maps are used. From these maps it is possible for each item, calculate the coverage on each link and then associate these covers to every variable of the system.
